“OUR HEARTS ARE DEAD” Newlywed couple watched 100 guests die at their own wedding

A wedding should be the most beautiful memory in a couple’s life, but this one turned into a literal hell.

Haneen and Revan were in the middle of their first dance as husband and wife when sparks from the pyrotechnics reached the ceiling. In an instant, the hall turned into a trap of fire and smoke that claimed the lives of more than 100 loved ones.

The couple revealed that they lost 15 relatives; Haneen lost 10, including her own mother and brother.

“We are sitting here in front of you, but we are dead inside,” they confessed in an interview with Sky News, with their hearts completely shattered. 

For them, the guilt of having survived is a burden heavier than the fire itself.

Today, the owners of the hall are facing criminal charges, since it was built with prohibited materials and there were not enough emergency exits, but for Haneen and Revan, no sentence will erase the fact that their happiness was sacrificed for greed and lack of oversight. 😭💔
