The rivalry between Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria added a new chapter after Topuria’s surprising defeat to Justin Gaethje at the UFC White House event.
After the fight, which ended when Topuria’s corner decided to stop it before the fifth round due to the accumulated damage, Pimblett took the opportunity to mock him.
“All you had to do was beat a 38-year-old man coming off a 5-round war with me. Instead, you quit on your stool like the little coward you are”.
Pimblett even congratulated Gaethje for winning the lightweight belt and floated the idea of a rematch for the undisputed title.
