There are reviews that ruin a restaurant and reviews that confuse the entire internet.

This is the second kind. A patient wrote that Dr. Lewis had saved his life — literally, no metaphors — and yet gave him 4 out of 5 stars. Not a single line of complaint, nor a bad comment about the care. Just that sentence, followed by a rating that doesn’t match anything he had just said.

People began speculating about what the doctor was missing to earn a full five stars. Was he also supposed to validate his parking? Offer him a coffee while he waited for the results? The case became a perfect example of how impossible it is to please some customers, even when the service provided was, literally, saving their lives.
