Patrick Clancy has not stopped dreaming about his children.
In his first televised interview, given to CBS’s 60 Minutes on September 21, 2026, the father of Cora, Dawson, and Callan—murdered on January 24, 2023, in Duxbury, Massachusetts, by his then-wife Lindsay Clancy—said that Cora, the oldest, 5, continues to appear in his dreams. He described a dream that occurred months after the tragedy: she walks into the kitchen of the family home, he asks her where she has been, and the little girl simply hugs him. He says the dreams are so vivid that he feels awake inside them.
The interview came just days after the jury in Lindsay’s trial deadlocked, forcing a mistrial to be declared. Clancy also spoke about the suicidal thoughts he faced after losing his three children, the playground he built in Duxbury with a feature dedicated to each of them, and the conspiracy theories that circulated online accusing him. By his side was his current wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, with whom he plans to start a new family.
