Pax Jolie-Pitt, 22, showed up at a family dinner no one expected: the engagement of his cousin Sydney Pitt, daughter of Doug Pitt, to Archimede Jerome. Also there were Julie Pitt Neal and Reagan Pitt, aunts and cousins from Brad’s side. A source told Page Six that Pax “still has a relationship with his dad’s family and continues spending time with them”.
What is striking is what happens behind closed doors. Another source says that Pax “doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad” directly, although he didn’t break with the rest of the clan. Meanwhile, his siblings took the opposite path: Maddox and Zahara legally requested to remove the last name Pitt, Shiloh already did so in 2024, and even Knox and Vivienne appeared in official documents only as Jolie.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finalized their divorce in December 2024, eight years after she filed for it. And in the middle of that split, Pax seems to be the only child who still hasn’t cut all ties with that side of the family.
