Perla spent more than 10 years at a bus depot in Medellín.

An entire decade among engines, asphalt, and noise. Until Fundación Mundo Peludo Adopciones shared her story on social media and searched for something as simple as it was hard to find for this mixed-breed dog: a home with care and peace and quiet.

The message reached Anni Pabón, who offered to foster her. It was only supposed to be temporary. But during their time together, something no one had planned happened: a bond grew so strong that the family decided to adopt her forever.

Today Perla has a roof over her head, a little brother, and food on her plate every day. And as Anni said: “This is not the end of Perla’s story; this is her new beginning in a pack full of love”.

Because, as those who followed her story rightly say, there are no unadoptable dogs. Sometimes life is just waiting for the right heart to come along. 🐶🤍
