Elon Musk wanted to amaze the world with a Tesla capable of performing stunts in the air, but the internet had other plans: turning his presentation into a meme factory.

After the company showed off the new Roadster performing a jump and a flip, social media began filling up with jokes about what could happen if any driver had one of these vehicles.

“My first day with the Tesla”, one user wrote alongside a video of a car ending up embedded in a highway sign.

Others imagined streets packed with vehicles flying in every direction, as if they were in a video game.

“Me overtaking a slow driver when I get my Tesla Roadster”, another person joked, accompanying the post with a car flying upside down over a road.

Some also recalled the flying cars from Back to the Future or shared vehicles with makeshift propellers.

While Tesla boasts about taking automotive technology to the next level, internet users seem much more interested in discovering new ways to cause accidents.

Because if driving on the ground is already complicated, the internet isn’t ready for drivers who also want to conquer the skies. 😂
