For years, she dreamed of teaching mathematics, but she spent barely a year and a half in the classroom before making a decision that completely changed her life.
Argentine Martina Cuffaro Russo, 24, left her job as a teacher to dedicate herself to creating content on OnlyFans, a platform where she says she now earns between US$12,000 and US$15,000 per month.
Martina explained that she did not feel comfortable with the routine or with the idea of spending decades working only to then depend on a pension. “I didn’t want to be someone else’s employee”, she said, recalling why she decided to quit teaching.
At first, she started anonymously, promoting herself only in private groups and without showing too much content. In those first months, she was already earning between US$5,000 and US$6,000 a month. Later, she decided to promote herself openly on social media, learned about algorithms and digital marketing, and her income grew to triple.
The young woman maintains that the work goes far beyond posting photographs. As she explained, she also earns income through private conversations, personalized content, and other services requested by her subscribers, always respecting the limits she sets herself.
Her story quickly went viral and divided opinions. While some applaud her for finding a way to gain financial independence, others question whether this type of content should be presented as a work alternative for young people.
Despite the criticism, Martina says she does not regret her decision and that she now enjoys a financial freedom she never imagined when she taught mathematics.
