An old photoshoot of Kendall Jenner exploded on social media again, and this time, users are analyzing one part of her body in an almost absurd level of detail.
The images are from a 2021 SKIMS campaign in which Kendall posed alongside her sisters Kim and Kylie Jenner in tiny red lingerie. Five years later, the photographs resurfaced, and some people began questioning her proportions, especially the size of the garment and what her intimate area looks like.
The discussion quickly shifted to another question: were the images digitally retouched?
It would not be the first time this has happened. When the campaign originally appeared, some users were already accusing the production team of excessively editing Kendall’s body and even warning others not to compare their appearance with those photographs.
Kendall never confirmed that those specific images had been manipulated. In fact, in 2021 she responded to a fan by reminding her that she also has bad days and that things “are not always as perfect as they seem”.
Meanwhile, other users came to her defense and criticized the level of scrutiny: “They analyze everything as if it were a forensic investigation”, one person wrote.
And perhaps that is the strangest detail of the whole story: a photo from a 2021 campaign returned to the internet and ended up becoming a full-blown bikini CSI. 😂
