Mazzlyn, a pit bull, ended up seriously injured after throwing herself at an armed man to protect her homeless owner. 💔
It all happened during the early morning in Long Beach, California, when an argument got out of control and the aggressor pulled out a knife. At that moment, the dog did not hesitate: as soon as she saw the danger, she lunged to defend her human… and ended up receiving several stab wounds.
The most shocking thing is that even injured she did not want to back down. Mazzlyn kept barking and confronting the attacker to keep him away, while several witnesses ran to intervene and stop the assault.
When the police arrived at the scene, the officers gave her first aid and a neighbor rushed her to a veterinary clinic. Meanwhile, the attacker managed to escape and is still on the run.
