Al Qaqa Ibn Antar, known on social media as the “Spider-Man of Yemen”, died at age 30 after falling from about 120 meters while climbing the volcanic crater of the Hardah dam in southern Yemen without safety equipment 😶.

The young man had become famous for sharing videos in which he defied danger by climbing cliffs and rock formations using only his hands. However, during one of his most recent expeditions, he lost his grip and desperately tried to hold on before plunging into the void. The dramatic moment was captured on video.
Rescue teams took nearly four hours to recover his body due to the difficult terrain conditions. According to local media, Antar had acknowledged that poverty led him to take these kinds of risks to earn money and support himself through the popularity he achieved on the internet. 💔
Was it a free decision or a trap disguised as bravery? 👇
