Javier Olivera Ravasi is a priest, he is Argentine, and he is known for something that has sparked more than one debate: sharing testimonials about how to “leave” homosexuality.

This is not the first time his name has come up amid controversy. His activities in Argentina drew criticism and ended with his expulsion from the diocese where he carried out pastoral work.

Today he is once again at the center of the conversation. Olivera Ravasi is taking part with a presentation titled “The Christian Education of Children”, as part of a gathering focused on family, education, and Christian values. Topics to be addressed include sex education and gender dysphoria.

For some, he is a voice defending his convictions. For others, a discourse that should not have a platform. Which side are you on?
