Leonor, heir to the Spanish throne, was 19 years old when she was photographed swimming alongside six Navy colleagues during a stopover in Uruguay, amid her training aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano.
Far from protocol and official events, images published by the Italian magazine Oggi showed the princess enjoying a day off with her fellow trainees.
