“I have nothing to lose!” the man shouted.
A cashier at a branch of a microcredit organization in Temirtau, Kazakhstan, experienced moments of terror. A man who at first appeared to be just another customer took advantage of the woman being alone to steal the cash from the register.
With complete brazenness, he began striking the glass with his fists to get into the small office. The cashier’s panicked screams did not stop him. His goal was to reach the cash register.
The cashier tried to flee the place, but the man, brandishing a knife, shouted that if she tried to escape he would silence her. Resigned and trembling, she obeyed and returned to her workstation.
“I know I’ll go to jail for five or six years”.
The criminal did not seem to fear the law; after the robbery he kept bragging to the cashier in an attempt to show power in the situation. However, the footage quickly went viral on WhatsApp and the police managed to track him down. The man ended up voluntarily confessing to the crime and had to face several charges.
The shocking incident occurred in 2017, but the footage captured by the camera is still circulating on social media.
