Rangers fans saw “Jagiellonia Białystok” in the Europa League draw and couldn’t resist the joke: that the name looked like a Wi-Fi password.
The mockery went viral among the Scottish fans themselves. The Polish club did not respond with words. It responded by eliminating Rangers in the third qualifying round.
To top it all off, the club put together a video featuring Nik Prelec, the scorer of the qualifying goal, sitting in front of a computer, typing “Rangers” as the wrong password and “Jagiellonia Białystok” as the correct one.
Pure cinema. The lesson was served: don’t mock the Wi-Fi name if you don’t have the password.
