Sofía Vergara didn’t say his name. She didn’t have to.
A few days after Joe Manganiello released his memoir, ‘Bloodlines,’ the 54-year-old Colombian actress posted a graphic to her Instagram Stories about “narcissistic men” that her son Manolo had shared earlier. The text warns that when you deal with a narcissist, “no matter how much you do for them, they’ll resent you for it, and nothing will ever be enough”. And that they’ll always try, somehow, to make you look like the bad guy. She added a clapping hands emoji.

The book went on sale on October 13. In it, the 49-year-old actor tells his side of the marriage: according to Manganiello, the relationship became “completely devoid of emotion”, she refused to hug him even when he asked her to, and ridiculed him for adopting a dog in 2019, when he was at his worst health-wise. He also maintains that false things were said and published about him.
Vergara hasn’t clarified whether the message has anything to do with the book. A pointed message or just a coincidence?
