Dozens of pregnant women were left bewildered after discovering that the supposed first portrait of their babies was exactly the same. The controversy erupted when several women began comparing the 3D images they had received from their gynecologist.

The result seemed impossible. At least 40 patients had the same photograph saved as a pregnancy keepsake.

In the face of the uproar, doctor Eduardo Oliva Andaur explained that the 2D medical ultrasounds were indeed performed correctly and that the 3D image corresponded to a demonstration photograph that came preconfigured on the equipment, which would have been printed by mistake.
