43-year-old content creator Nick Marden traveled from Bristol to the Cattleman’s Steakhouse restaurant in Devon, United Kingdom, to take on an extreme eating challenge.

The challenge was to devour 40 pork sausages along with 2.5 kilos of mashed potatoes and two liters of onion gravy in less than an hour. Despite his great effort, the man was unable to consume the last 100 grams of gravy because he suffered physical discomfort just minutes before finishing.

For this reason, the owner of the establishment, Gary King, refused to give him the top prize of $315, arguing that the rules require leaving the plate completely clean in order to validate the victory in the contest.
