Rick Harrison only wanted a stent.

At 61, the owner of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas went to a medical center for a routine procedure. But the tests revealed something more serious: a severe complication in his arteries that forced doctors to perform emergency coronary bypass surgery, a much more invasive operation than the one he had gone in for.

For days, the news kept millions of fans of ‘Pawn Stars’ on edge, the show that made him one of the best-known faces on television since 2009. But a spokesperson for his family confirmed to TMZ that he has already been discharged and is resting at home: “By all indications, he is doing very well”. Rick has already begun his rehabilitation, surrounded by his loved ones, with his heart literally repaired.
