Rodrigo Alves was 33 years old when the world knew him as the ‘Human Ken’ 💙.
He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and from a young age felt that his body was not the one he was meant to have. He began undergoing surgery again and again: nose, chest, liposuction, facial touch-ups.
He lost count after surgery number 100.
In 2016, he almost lost everything. A nose procedure caused skin necrosis, and he had to be urgently hospitalized in Málaga, Spain, with difficulty breathing 😨. He survived and continued having surgery.
In 2020, he made the turn no one expected: he began his gender transition and became Jessica Alves, the ‘Human Barbie’.
Today, at 42 years old, she continues telling her story unfiltered on television, as proof that sometimes transforming on the outside is only the reflection of a much deeper battle within.
