On July 4, 2024, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Rodrigo De Paul was walking across the pitch inspecting the field alongside Leandro Paredes, minutes before the match between Argentina and Ecuador in the Copa América quarterfinals. That was when he spotted his daughter in the stands — and she, with the unique naturalness of kids her age, sent him the most special greeting she could give: she started dancing for him. 🎶

De Paul didn’t hesitate for a second. From the field, with his hands raised and a huge smile, he danced back to her. The whole stadium around him, the full weight of a Copa América semifinal on his shoulders, and there he was, moving to the rhythm of his five-year-old daughter as if there were nothing more important in the world. Because in that moment, there wasn’t. 💙
