Footballer Rodrigo Riquelme held nothing back. The Betis left winger spoke candidly about social media and made it clear that he doesn’t consider it a healthy space.

“Everyone is very brave on social media, but when it comes to facing people, they lose their courage”, he said with the frankness of someone who has read all kinds of things about his game and his life.
His solution is clear-cut: “Either ban them or identify yourself”. As he proposed, the app should have your ID and your real name, and if you insult or threaten someone, your account gets shut down.

and that user would never have a social media account again. “If you use it for something positive, great; if not, you’re out”, he declared. Would identifying every user put an end to hate or restrict freedom of expression?
