A young woman from Wennappuwa, Sri Lanka, let out a heart-wrenching scream when a man knocked her off her motorcycle to steal her gold chain.
Even amid the struggle, the young woman cried out for help at the top of her lungs, and fortunately, neighbors in the area came out to help.
When the thief saw himself trapped, he tried to escape, but to his bad luck, the motorcycle was slow to start and one of the men from the area who came out to stop him was in excellent physical shape.
He quickly caught up with him, snatching the young woman’s chain away. And although he called the police, the first thing he did was hand him over to the rest of the neighborhood. The group decided to give him a beating so he would know he must not return to commit his misdeeds in the area.
