He slipped away to the kitchen looking for a quiet corner to catch his breath, away from the cameras and noise. There, among pots and waiters, he ran into the last person he expected to find hiding just like him: Sylvester Stallone, 79, the same Rambo Gosling admired as a child.
According to what he said on the New Heights podcast in March 2026, neither of them wanted to be at that party, and they ended up having what Gosling described as “a very Hollywood moment”. Stallone, he said, “did not disappoint” and left him with advice he still treasures. Stallone has said publicly that if he ever passed the baton to someone, it would be Gosling. 🐐
