After funding a school, a hospital, a mosque and a gas station in his hometown, the footballer is driving forward a mango project with an announced investment of 20 million dollars.
The initiative includes crops, processing facilities, an agricultural training center and research spaces; it is expected to generate more than 1.000 jobs.
“I want our wealth to stay with us. The profits should benefit our people”, Mané said when presenting the project. The venture begins in the field.
