Science found a curious difference between men and women when it comes to sleep.

A study conducted by the University of Pittsburgh revealed something many men say they’ve felt for years: sleeping next to their wives could help them rest better, thanks to oxytocin, emotional security, and reduced cortisol, the stress hormone.

But for many women, something different happens.
Research from Canisius College revealed that several sleep better next to a dog than next to a man, since dogs provide protection and calm without creating emotional tension or as many interruptions during the night.

While love may help relax the male body, for many women the feeling of safety would be key to sleeping better.
