Security camera footage captured the exact moment a United Airlines Boeing, arriving from Venice, struck an H&S Bakery truck while flying over the New Jersey Turnpike.

The driver, who had been calmly singing, lived through seconds of terror when one of the jet’s wheels shattered his vehicle’s windshield. Miraculously, the worker suffered only minor cuts, even though the impact could have been fatal.

Experts suggest that a combination of wind gusts and an extremely low approach caused the jet’s wheel to smash the vehicle’s windshield.

The driver, who reacted in milliseconds, avoided a greater tragedy by keeping control of the steering wheel. Despite the force of the impact, the 221 passengers and 10 crew members landed safely, while the worker survived with minor injuries.
