What was supposed to be a romantic date in the city of Tarapoto, in northern Peru, ended up turning into a fighting ring.
While a couple was talking next to a motorcycle, the tension began to rise. The man tried to kiss his girlfriend by force, but she refused. Faced with the rejection, the man reacted violently and hit her, without imagining what would happen seconds later.
Far from being intimidated, the young woman decided to defend herself and surprised him with a flurry of punches that left him with no response. “It was like watching an unexpected boxing match”, commented those who saw the viral security camera video. Seeing himself overpowered by the woman’s strength and determination, the aggressor had no choice but to run away to escape.
The recording of the incident has left everyone shocked by how quickly “the roles were reversed”. What began as an attempted assault ended with the man fleeing in a hurry through the Peruvian streets.
