Shakibecca has Shakira’s hips, Shakira’s hair, and apparently her place on stage too. 😂 The famous Colombian lookalike, who has been going viral on social media for years because of her almost supernatural resemblance to the Barranquilla-born singer, set off chaos on the internet again after the World Cup opening, when thousands of users swore they had seen Shakira perform and others, just as convinced, insisted it was Shakibecca who had taken the microphone.
But the story doesn’t end there. Some go even further and argue that it wasn’t a coincidence. According to them, Shakira directly took inspiration from her lookalike’s style and stage setup to put together her own performance. Yes, you read that right. The original copying the copy. 🙈
