Two days before the big final, Shakira dropped the bombshell: the Spanish version of ‘Dai Dai’, the song she composed with Nigerian artist Burna Boy for the 2026 World Cup. 🎶

The song was already making waves—nearly 200 million streams on Spotify and more than 440 million views on YouTube—but now it sounds different, in the language of the two teams facing off this Sunday: Argentina and Spain. A final between Spanish-speaking countries not seen since 1930.

Shakira had already premiered it at the opening ceremony, at Estadio Azteca. This Sunday, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, she will sing it again at the closing ceremony, making it her fourth World Cup anthem after ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, ‘Waka Waka’ and ‘La La La’. No one in World Cup history has as many official songs as she does. 🌟
