Ozzy woke up in the middle of the night and asked Sharon for something very simple: for her to kiss him twice. She did.
Then came the second request: “Hug me, hug me tight”. She hugged him too. That’s what Sharon Osbourne said in an interview with the BBC, almost fifteen months after the singer’s death.

What came next was a scream. According to her account, in the early hours someone ran into the room and told her “Come downstairs now”. She ran downstairs, and that was the end of it. Ozzy died of a heart attack on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, at the family home in Buckinghamshire.
Just 17 days had passed since his farewell concert in Birmingham, his hometown. Sharon says he was “floating” those days, happy reading the reviews, and even talking about going back on tour.
Today she visits his grave every day and sees it from her window. When asked what she talks to him about, she put a finger to her lips.
