Sandra Dajnowski decided to become a mother and adopted Nicolás without a partner. In 2011, she lost her sight after a retinal detachment and ten procedures; her son was still a minor.

She had to relearn everyday tasks and undergo rehabilitation to regain her independence. With the support of her business partner and other people, she returned to work as an architect and design buildings. In the process, she also made sure Nicolás could enjoy his childhood without becoming her caregiver.

Sandra shared her experience through initiatives related to accessibility and inclusion. Blindness changed the way she moved around and worked, but it did not force her out of her profession: she rebuilt her path until she was creating spaces again.
