Taylor Wright, a 33-year-old former private detective, disappeared on September 8, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida, United States, after meeting with her friend Ashley McArthur, a former crime scene investigator.
For weeks, McArthur claimed not to know what had happened, but the investigation uncovered that Wright had been murdered and buried on a property linked to her.
According to the prosecution, the crime was related to the misuse of 34 thousand dollars that the victim had entrusted to her. In 2019, McArthur was sentenced to life in prison and remains incarcerated to this day.
