What started as a viral experiment ended up being a direct blow to the player. Thousands of people, convinced that Yamal was dating that perfect model, hurled insults at him: “You are ugly”, “you are far too ugly for her”. At 18 years old and about to play in his first World Cup, those comments followed him all the way onto the pitch. 🤯
