“She made my life”: Flight attendant greeted her favorite teacher over the loudspeaker. They hugged after 30 years

You never know the exact moment when we might meet again people who were important in our lives. That category also includes those teachers who were not only excellent at their job, but also set a precedent in who we are as people.

And there are teachers who always strive to go far beyond books and try to help their students learn things that are not predetermined in the subjects, but are instead parts of existence itself as human beings.

Those are the teachers who end up leaving their names written in indelible letters in the lives of their students.

One of those cases happened to a flight attendant in the middle of a flight. As reported by Good News Movement through its Instagram account, a young American woman named Lori was in the middle of her work when she realized that a special person was traveling as a passenger on the plane.

It was none other than her favorite teacher from when she was little. Even though 30 years had passed without seeing each other, both recognized one another almost immediately.

She saw the name on the passenger list and decided to pay her a tribute: she greeted her teacher through the plane’s loudspeakers and dedicated a heartfelt speech to her in which she showed the affection she has felt for her for years.

“Good morning, everyone. I’ve been working with the airline for 3 months. Today is National Teacher Day and we’re supposed to recognize the teachers who changed our lives“, the flight attendant began.

“She made me read Shakespeare, play the piano. I got my master’s in piano and I can write an essay thanks to her. I love her“, she added.

After finishing thanking her for all the things the teacher had given her in life, the flight attendant went to the woman’s seat and hugged her tightly. “You made my day“, the teacher told her, to which the flight attendant replied: “You made my life“.

After her small but beautiful tribute, the passengers on the plane applauded and cheered for both of them for the affection shown more than 30 thousand feet in the air.
