“She’s an angel, not a murderer” Carl Bolton has no doubts. He says Lucy Letby saved his daughter Jessica’s life twice at the Countess of Chester Hospital, and describes her as an angel.
The problem is that this same nurse is serving 14 life sentences for murdering seven babies and attempting to murder six more, between 2015 and 2016, in the same neonatal unit. Letby never admitted to harming anyone.
While some parents are calling for her conviction to be reviewed because it is ‘unsafe’, the victims’ families are demanding that the ruling by the justice system be respected.
