An 18-year-old woman identified as Amanda Jones became the center of controversy after being accused of brutally attacking a 14-year-old girl in the city of Cadillac. The incident occurred on March 31, 2025 near the city’s old dam, where, according to the investigation, the teenager had allegedly been summoned by Jones herself before everything ended in a violent assault.

According to the evidence presented in Wexford County court, the minor ended up on the ground, in the fetal position, while being punched and kicked without any chance to defend herself. Although the injuries were not classified as serious, authorities emphasized that the violence of the attack was enough to bring criminal charges against the 18-year-old woman.

However, what most outraged the community was what happened after the assault. As was stated during the judicial proceedings, Amanda Jones allegedly posted videos on TikTok mocking the minor after the fight. The footage quickly went viral on social media, racking up millions of views and triggering a wave of criticism over the attitude shown by the accused.

During the hearing, the judge harshly questioned Jones’s behavior and refused to let her go free of charges. Ultimately, the court granted her a period of 12 months to demonstrate a change in behavior and comply with the conditions imposed by the justice system. If she fails to do so, the young woman could face a sentence that would include prison time.
