In November 2022, a shocking scene shook Sanford, Florida: Kaylin Fiengo, a young woman just 18 years old and pregnant, was found shot to death inside her car at Coastline Park.
The investigation quickly pointed to her boyfriend, Donovan Faison, 23. According to prosecutors, it all began when she told him she was expecting a baby and he reacted by demanding that she have an abortion.
Days later, he allegedly summoned her to the park and executed her, ending both of their lives.
In October 2025, he was found guilty of first-degree murder and the jury recommended the death penalty.
