A medical tourism trip to Istanbul turned into a complete financial and health nightmare for a Spanish citizen.

The affected woman, named Maribel Ruiz and originally from the town of Los Barrios in Cádiz, planned a breast operation and accepted an additional dental treatment for a total cost of 4.100 dollars. Under the effects of six syringes of anesthesia, the workers at the Turkish clinic extracted all of her teeth, including some previous molar implants.

After five months of abandonment, the patient returned to her country with a defective prosthesis and is seeking to cover the cost of a medical repair valued at 9.700 dollars, to recover the functionality of her jaw.
