Nate Roman knew something strange had happened as soon as he entered his house: it was too clean.
He had returned from work and began to notice things that he definitely had not left that way. The beds were made, the carpets vacuumed, the bathrooms clean, and even the toilet paper rolls had small origami roses. Everything seemed to indicate that someone had taken quite a bit of time to tidy up.
The problem was that no one in his family had done it.
That was when he realized a stranger had entered while he was away, and he began checking his belongings, thinking he might find something missing. But absolutely nothing had been stolen.
The situation seemed so strange to him that he ended up calling the police. Then, trying to find an explanation, he thought that perhaps a cleaning service had gotten the address wrong and entered by mistake.
In the end, someone did enter his house without permission, but instead of taking anything, they made his beds, cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed, and left everything spotless.
