For several years, Nicole B. Jones was known around the world by the stage name Jazmine Cashmere, becoming one of the most recognized figures in the adult entertainment industry in the United States.
Between 2004 and 2010, she appeared in more than a hundred productions, in addition to working as a lingerie model, exotic dancer, and escort; her popularity even led her to receive major recognition within that industry.
However, years later she made a decision that very few expected.
Nicole said that her life changed completely after she embraced the Christian faith. According to what she has shared in various interviews, that process led her to permanently leave her former career behind and begin a different path.
In 2016, she spoke about that transformation and, over time, ended up becoming a born-again Christian and later an ordained pastor.
Today she leads a ministry in Chicago, is married, and is the mother of three children. Far from hiding her past, she often mentions it during talks and religious services to convey a message of hope to people going through difficult times or who feel that their mistakes will haunt them forever.
Her story, however, continues to generate intense debate.
While some believe she is an example that anyone can change and build a new life, others argue that those who had such a high-profile past should never hold a religious leadership role.
Beyond the opinions, Nicole insists that no one is condemned to be the same person their whole life and that there is always the possibility of starting over.
