It happened in 2015, when the American singer was just beginning her music career and had important commitments related to that performance.
“I started miscarrying before the show”, she recounted in August 2024 during an interview on the SHE MD podcast.
Although she was going through a physical and emotional emergency, she decided to continue. She put on an adult diaper because of the bleeding and went out to sing.
When the concert ended, she vomited in the parking lot and returned to her hotel, where she spent the whole night feeling sick.
“I remember sitting in the bathtub because I didn’t know what to do with all the blood”, she confessed.
The performance was recorded. Years later, Halsey said it was still difficult for her to watch, since she could tell how pale and exhausted she looked.
The artist also spoke about the loneliness she felt and the conflicting emotions she experienced during that episode.
In 2021, Halsey became a mother to her son Ender.
Her account revealed a painful experience that the audience never imagined as they watched her sing.
