Ririko Kinoshita was 34 years old when she made a decision that she kept secret for a long time: she began working in the adult film industry without her husband knowing.
According to the Japanese actress, the original idea was not to become a professional. She was afraid of aging and wanted to preserve a memory of what her body looked like at that stage of her life, so she planned to make just one film and then retire.
But something happened that she did not expect. Kinoshita was fascinated by the work environment and decided to continue. What was going to be a one-time experience ended up becoming a career, and for approximately two years she kept everything hidden from her husband.
Until guilt got the better of her and she decided to tell him the truth.
Her husband’s reaction was not easy. Kinoshita says he remained in shock for a week and was practically unable to sleep after finding out what she had been doing behind his back.
However, he never demanded that she give up her career.
Over time, the couple managed to overcome the crisis and, according to Kinoshita, their relationship even improved. She now says that her husband supports her when she has to travel for work and that they both feel closer than before.
The actress even maintains that, without that decision that initially seemed capable of destroying their relationship, her marriage probably would have grown cold over time.
