A girl about 3 years old saw a ball through a small window inside a phone store in Đông Triều, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam. She climbed up without thinking. What she found on the other side was not a solid floor, but a suspended plaster ceiling, unable to support even its own weight.
The panels gave way within seconds. The girl fell straight toward the store, while security cameras recorded every moment. An employee who was nearby managed to react and caught her in midair just before she hit the ground.
Vương Việt, the store owner, shared the video to warn other parents about the risks of leaving children near false ceilings or unsupervised spaces. One second of distraction, and everything could have ended very differently.
