Laika doesn’t ask for permission, she doesn’t knock on the door, she simply arrives. For more than a year, this little dog from Cajicá, Colombia, has made Dulcería Las Caleñitas her mandatory stop, almost as if she had a regular shift.
The owner of the shop welcomes her with food and affection almost every day, something Laika clearly appreciates in her own way: a couple of months ago, she arrived accompanied by a new friend, a reddish-haired little dog who also wanted her portion. No one knows whether Laika gave her recommendations about the place or simply brought her by the paw, but since then the two have been making the same route together.

The owner even took Laika to the veterinarian to have her spayed, because she says she gives that affection from the heart, without asking whether the dog who arrives has somewhere to sleep or not. In the end, it turns out that kindness is also recommended by word of mouth, or rather, from snout to snout.
