“Messi, after the World Cup he had, at his age, without a doubt”, said the Argentine coach, who has spent years in the Spanish league, a witness to Messi’s talent.
At a time when every opinion about the Ballon d’Or sparks debate, Simeone chose the simplest path: voting for one of his own, when the Europeans are making a strong showing.
