A legitimate shipment of Skims clothing, Kim Kardashian’s brand, was used as a front in a drug trafficking attempt in the United Kingdom.
British authorities found 90 kilos of cocaine, valued at nearly 10 million dollars, hidden in a secret compartment inside the rear doors of a truck coming from the Netherlands.
The driver, Jakub Jan Konkel, admitted that he agreed to transport the drugs for just over 5 thousand dollars and was sentenced to 13 and a half years in prison.
Authorities clarified that neither Skims, nor Kim Kardashian, nor the shipping companies were linked to the illegal cargo.
