The striking mustache of the president of a political party in Turkey went viral in recent weeks after a photograph of him began circulating on social media.
Orhan Avcı says the curious thing is that fame did not come to him because of his campaign promises or his political career, which includes two terms as village chief. It came because of his unusual mustache, which seems to defy the laws of gravity and has captivated thousands of people around the world.
“I grew my mustache simply because it suits me”, Avcı said, assuring that there is no particular idea behind his aesthetic choice. Just the desire to look good.
