But amid it all, Freddie’s fish tank—the family’s goldfish, who had been swimming there for 8 years (and had cost just 89 cents at a pet store)—was shattered on the floor. 🐠
What no one expected was to find Freddie alive and kicking in the kitchen sink, swimming calmly in clean water. The same thieves who took their most valuable belongings had stopped to rescue the fish before escaping.
