Macromastia is a medical condition that has no solution and affects Summer Robert, a 28-year-old woman whose size 130 breasts weigh more than 25 kilos and cause her problems ranging from chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain to being unable to travel in economy class on planes, because the lack of space means the tray table does not lower all the way and her breasts end up spilling into the seat of the passenger next to her.
Summer revealed that in the last two years she has spent thousands of dollars on upgrades to business class, an amount she describes as “overwhelming”, and explained that “I always end up with the person next to me touching my breasts, and that makes both of us uncomfortable. I need to go to the bathroom or I won’t be able to eat dinner on the plane or some other passenger will touch me”.
Despite everything, the content creator says that she loves her body and is proud of her breasts, because they have allowed her to build a platform to show girls that all body types are beautiful, and she concludes: “I love my body and conventions will never stop that”.
